For as long as I can remember, I have resonated with water and creatures of the deep – mermaids in particular. This made more sense in adulthood when I learned more about my zodiac sign, Cancer, which is a Water sign. I have always appreciated the different mermaid archetypes, my favorite being the Siren. Not unlike a black widow spider, the Siren is a Femme Fatale luring prey into her traps with her charms. Dangerous beauty, like the prick of a rose thorn, leaving indelible marks on the mind and soul for eternity. That is the energy I embody and emanate.

In ancient times, natural grottos were said to be dwelling places for gods. Naturally-formed grottos are often small caves near water, and grottos are associated with feeling sheltered and shielded from merciless external conditions. What better place to call the sanctuary I create for servitude, surrender, and worship?
